Silver verge pair cased pocket watch by Eardley Norton, London, hallmarks indistinct, white enamelled dial, plain outer cover, signed back plate with stepped square pillars, 56mm diameter; also a Joseph Ryland, Ormskirk, silver verge pocket watch, hallmarked Chester 1813, enamelled dial, the back plate signed and numbered 425, the matched outer case hallmarked London 1826, 55mm diameter (2)

Norton: The outer case has numerous light dents. Repairs around the button. Inner case also have light dents. Dial has repairs to the extreme outer edge. between 6 and 8 o'clock. Currently ticks when wound.
Ryland: Outer case shows signs of wear and with many dents. Dial has a repaired chip around the central spigot. Hair cracks at 3 and 6 o'clock. Repair around the stem as it joins the inner case. Back of inner case indistinctly signed with a previous owner. Currently ticks when wound.
