A George III satinwood strung mahogany fold-out valet stand/ dressing table. in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The top opening reveals a rising mirror and three compartments above a frieze drawer extending to accommodate an inclining writing surface. Above the lower portion of the stand with a concave tambour night cupboard, supported by square tapering supports terminating in brass cup castors. 66 cm wide x 51 cm deep x 88 cm overall height.
