A late 18/early 19c white bone and paper fan, the sticks pierced and gilded, the fan leaf decorated with domestic scenes with profuse gilding on blue background. Mounted, framed and glazed. Stick measures 50cms w when open and 25cms dia. Entire framed and glazed 59cms x 32cms.

Some damage to the leaf and one stick is broken.
It has not been taken out of its display case, so report in only on what can can be seen.. The end stick on the right hand side has a crack where the bottom half joins the top, there are creases in the divisions of the fan, there is a parting in the division at half way point of right hand side of fan. There is a division in the paper running for about 2in in the top centre panel and on the left hand portion of the fan there is damage in three divisions. There does not appear to be any actual losses. Colours remain good.
