An attractive pair of 48 bore percussion boxlock pocket pistols, by Peacock, London, 6” overall, turn off octagonal barrels 2” with fern tip engraved borders to muzzles, London proved, signed bronze frames engraved with foliate scrolls, with top safeties and hidden triggers, the rounded butts having rectangular silver escutcheons, finely engraved silver butt caps, and profusely inlaid with silver leaves, tendrils and whorls. GWO & C, the barrels and hammers retaining much original blued finish; in their fitted green baize lined walnut case with circular brass escutcheon, the lid having trade label of Westley Richards, London, containing 3 way red leather covered flask, barrel key, nipple key with pricker, turn screw, 40 bore pincer mould, and key to case. A nice clean set. £1200-1800
