Ross of London brass portrait lens, serial no. 3083, no Waterhouse stops slot so fixed aperture, 4¾" (12 cm) L The inside of the brass cap marked Dr Larmuth in pencil. Larmuth was a Manchester trained Physician, Botanist and Horticulturalist, also a great friend of the then director of Zeiss.
