A smokebox numberplate, 61916, from a LNER K3 Class 2-6-0 No 1162 built by Armstrong Whitworth, Works No 1128, in May 1931, renumbered 1916 in 1946, becoming BR 61916. Allocated to St Margarets by January 1948, it moved in July 1951 to Carlisle Canal from where it was withdrawn on 31 December 1960 and cut up at Cowlairs Works. The front repainted. (Postage Band: D)
