*Jules Tattersall [b.1955] a turned Grass Tree root vase: of tapering egg shaped form with rippled exterior the rim highlighted with red, the base incised Jules '90' and Grass Tree Root, 35cm high. *Note Grass Tree or Xanthorrhoea is not a tree or grass but a form of slow growing fern, found only in Australia, that on average will grow 2.5cm per annum and can reach ages in excess of 600 years old.
