Stott: 1939-1945 Star, Atlantic Star, Defence Medal, 1939-1945 War Medal, pin-mounted for wear on original ribbons; RNVR Decoration, EIIR, 1962; Royal Life Saving Society Bronze medal, boxed & certificate en suite (Mount St. Mary's, Sheffiled, 1939); a pair of Merchant Navy 1st Officer's (Cdr.) epaulettes; original letters and documents, some copied research; Mrs Althea Stott (née Robinson): WVS Long Service Medal, boxed, with award letter dated January 1944; original documents in maiden name from Buenos Aries, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay, where she grew up, including two passports with photographs, 1932 and 1942 John Stott (b. July 1924) and Althea Robinson (b. December 1924( were both born in Lancashire, but Althea grew up in Argentina and then Uruguay. The British Consular records from 1941-45 show that they were married in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, most likely at the end of the Second World War in 1945.
