The Mentors Chardonnay 2011 12 x 750ml
This Chardonnay is a blend of two exceptional vineyards in Elgin. Both components were fermented in barrel - 70% using an indigenous yeast strain to enhance texture and mouth feel, while 30% was inoculated with commercial yeast to ensure cultivar typicity, defined fruit and freshness. Only 20% of the wine underwent partial malolactic fermentation to add complexity to the final blend.
