A VICTORIAN WALNUT VENEERED WORK TABLE, of rounded rectangular form, the hinged lid revealing green gilt tooled leather writing surface, lidded wells, pen depression and open compartments, the frieze drawer inlaid, turned tapered legs with foliate collars joined by a turned stretcher, scrolling legs, 64cm wide, c.1870 (faults)
Top - poor quality veneer with two cracks. Rips and faults to veneer at back and on bowed ends. Front filled and patched. Interior not too bad - a couple of small losses and leather is cracked. Back left leg old repair and front right foot cracked through.
