SUDETENLAND POSTAL HISTORY/CANCELLATIONS: Eleven box files housing an extensive collection of cards, covers, cancels, local issues, etc. relating to Sudetenland Post Offices under the control of Dresden, transferred back to Czechoslovakia after WWII. Virtually all frankings are dated 1945, a handful 1946. Well researched and presented on display pages, with approx. 275 different offices represented, with a wide variety of marks & frankings present. Organised alphabetically per office, Albrechtice to Zitenice with listing provided. Several sections include collections of local overprints on Hitler Head types, mint & used (mostly philatelic). These inc. local ovpts of Rumburk (Rumburg), Schonwald, Tepice (Teplitz), Usti nad Labem (Aussig), etc. A superb collection which would surely take many years to replicate.
