Dickens. Charles; Oliver Twist or the Parish boy's progress. Paris, 1839. The first Paris edition, and also the first Octavo edition. A very good copy in contemporary leather backed boards, bizarrely retaining the leather title. Name on title page with browning, which follows through on the text to a lesser extent. Overall a very good solid copy.
