A Charles I joined oak coffer, West Country, circa 1640
Having a triple-panelled lid, the front again with three panels, each guilloche flower-carved, within similar carved uprights and top rail, the base rail punch-decorated with a dog-tooth design, and repeated on the side top rail above two plain panels, 100cm wide, 63cm high, 49cm deep.
