Sapphire and diamond five stone ring, centred with an oval cut sapphire of approx. 0.5ct flanked by old cushion cut diamonds, all in platinum claw mounts, on an 18ct split shank ring, size P, gross weight approx. 3.2g
The sapphire has some tiny chips to the upper facets, visible through a 10x loupe. In our view the central sapphire is probably a replacement for a diamond. The diamonds are irregularly shaped old cut stones. The diamonds show signs of fissures breaking the surface and the odd minute chip. Claws are all good. Ring is in good condition and full marked.
