TAXIDERMY: A LATE VICTORIAN GLASS DOME ON AN OVAL EBONISED BASE CONTAINING A DISPLAY OF FOUR SMALL EXOTIC BIRDS, perched on twigs in a naturalistic setting, one bird loose on the base, maximum dimensions height 40.5cm x width 35cm x depth 19.5cm, together with another glass dome containing an arbour of silk flowers over a moulded wax two dimensional figure of a lady in a blue dress standing behind two wax bushes, height 21.5cm (Condition report: the birds have some minor plumage loss but look a bit tired generally, one is loose in the base, the blue from the ladies dress is flaking out of the case and is like a dry powdery paint, the base looks in need of restoration / tired, both glass cases are intact)
