British Victorian X Lancers Cavalry Officers Sword with fullered curved blade 890mm in length with etched decoration to both sides with battle honours, VR and Queens Crown, Proof marked along with makers mark for Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London. Spine of blade numbered 14811. Felt washer still in place. Wire bound grip. Overall length 105cm. Complete with plated scabbard with twin suspension rings. In addition it has a chamois leather cover and a cloth cover. Cover is named to "Major England". NOTE: Major England's medals also feature in this sale as lot 3000.
Sword blade is in good condition.
