Mid-19th century Russian (Popov) porcelain Veilleuse teapot on stand, underglaze blue Cyrillic mark to stand with indistinct mark to teapot, of oval form, central section moulded with gothic trefoils and columns above castellated crown rim, painted with figures with cattle and sheep in lakeside landscape, surmounted with an oval-shaped teapot and cover similarly decorated on pierced oval stand, enriched in gilding, 27cm high overall
The item is in good condition with no apparent damage. I have added some close-ups of the paintwork to the catalogue - please refer to the updated catalogue for details. Small marks are not really visible on the photos - it would require viewing to get a better idea.
