A sapphire and diamond ballerina ring, centred with an oval-cut sapphire of 7.8 x 5.5 mm, claw-set within a surround set with tapered baguette-cut and brilliant-cut diamonds, leading to a D-section shank with flat edges, yellow metal marked '750 18k', ring head 1.7 x 1.2 cm, size E½, 4.0 grams. sapphire is diffusion treated.
