A set of thirteen French porcelain coffee cans and saucers attributed to Jean-Baptiste Ruaud (Limoges), mid-19th century, decorated in over-glaze black enamel with coloured highlights, depicting landscapes with figures and buildings beyond, gold 'R' mark, coffee cans 5.5cm high, saucers 12cm diameter (26) Provenance: Purchased in a shop in Paris called “Au vase etrusque” in 1920 by the vendor's grandfather, Minister of Commerce in Norway.
