'Joule's Stone Ales' advertising brewery stoneware jug, Trademark cross to front with 'Stone Ales' to both sides. Made by Price Bristol. Founded in 1780, John Joule & Sons Ltd started producing ale from their Staffordshire premises at High Street, Stone, Staffordshire. Joule's registered their trademark 'Greek Cross' in 1879. Height 14cm.
