A Longquan Celadon Brushrest-shape Waterdropper, Ming dynasty the crescent-form water dropper modelled in the shape of a five-peaked mountain, with the fifth peak carved as an animal head with open mouth and functioning as the spout, carved on the front with a tree and a fence, the back pierced with a hole for filling with water, covered in an olive-green glaze that falls short of the flat base; an identical example was sold by Christie's New York at 20 September 2016, Lot 1258, for USD 12,500 L:9.3cm, H:6.5cm
