A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 65726, GATESHEAD WORKS, 1902, from a North Eastern Railway Class P1 0-6-0 No 2141 which became LNER J25 Class with the same number and was renumbered 5726 in 1946, becoming BR 65726. Its BR sheds were Middlesbrough, Darlington, Northallerton, Hull Dairycoates, Neville Hill, Starbeck, Sunderland and Gateshead from where it was withdrawn in June 1962 and cut up at Darlington Works. Cast brass, 9"x5", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
