A 19TH CENTURY FRENCH CHASSEPOT BAYONET AND A SPIKE BAYONET. A French bayonet with a 52cm single edged, pointed blade, the back engraved '... Novembre 1879', with forward facing quillon stamped 83457, two part wooden grip and functioning spring, 64cm overall. A British No4 MII Spike bayonet numbered 65Z and N67 for the Singer factory in Scotland. 25cm. *CR Spring on second not functioning, both with light surface marks and wear.
