18th Century Eastern bronze swivel cannon or lantaka, length 50cm
It appears to us that this cannon has had a replacement end piece. The inside of the barrel is very poorly cast (see images). There are knocks to the barrel which is nicely patinated. Again, the swivel element holding the barrel also seems poorly cast and is probably associated with the cannon, rather than original.
The wooden box is obviously modern.
