An early/mid 20th century 18ct gold 2.3ct solitaire diamond ring, claw set with old European cut diamond and old cut diamond shoulders with white gold tops, principal diamond colour approx K, clarity approx SI2, additional diamond content approx 0.1ct, total diamond content approx 2.4ct, size P, 3.4g, with WGI Certificate
No damage or repair, all stones present, principal diamond is bright and fiery, diamond has a natural on the girdle along with some bearding and a couple of internal fractures underneath crown facets as well as a black spot next to one of the claws, generally quite clean. Shoulder diamonds colour approx H-I and clarity approx SI1-SI2, all have abraded facet edges but are still bright, settings lightly abraded, mark slightly rubbed, stamped 18CT.
