Tallis, London & New York, no date, circa 1860, with two comparative plates and 81 map plates, with outline colouring by John Rapkin (one of which is not numbered, last map is Jamaica), bound with MONTGOMERY MARTIN, R., Esq. - 'Index-Gazetteer of The World' - The London Printing and Publishing Company, with 25 monochrome plates showing plans of major cities and towns in Great Britain, North America, etc., (bound in to correspond with the country maps), the boards & spine detached (the spine in two parts), ink ms inscription to first free endpaper to Major General Denniss & family from his father, dated 1879, ink ms list of plates (1-80) on second free endpaper; together with a small quantity of ephemera including an albumen print of India, a postcard to Major-General Denniss at Arreton, Eglinton Road, Donnybrook, Dublin, and a G.W.R. advert for the new Fishguard route to and from Ireland (a lot).
