Railway. Infrastructure - Signal Boxes. A collection of approx. 78 x 35mm, colour slides, on mixed film stock. The slides were taken by John Meredith, and feature a good selection of signal boxes. Most of the boxes are on the Eastern Region and feature ex Great Eastern Railway boxes in Essex, Greater London and East Anglia. All of the slides are exterior views. Locations include: Worstead, Reedham Jnt., Stratford, Ipswich Derby Road, Ely Dock Jnt., Cheshunt, Southend Victoria, Marks Tey, Thetford, Hertford East, Chingford, Castle Hedingham, Clacton, Spooner Row, North Wootton, Yaxham etc. All of the slides are captioned and most date from the 1990's.
