SOUTH AMERICAN FLIGHTS - "VARIG" BRAZIL FLIGHTS: 1928-34 envs (20) flown by Varig airlines and mostly bearing Varig labels/stamps in combination with Brazilian adhesives inc. 23 July 1931 env from Pelotas to Porto Alegre. 19 April 1932 env probably from a trial flight from Porto Alregre to Livramento bearing Brazil 100r pair and a corner block of seven Varig 350r paying the air fee. 25 July 1932 illustrated Varig env from Porto Alegre to Uruguayana with 500r Varig adhesive. Fifteen have h.s. "M.P." (Mao Propria) indicating carriage outside the Brazilian postal system.
