A large novelty wine goblet or frigger by Malcolm Andrews, the ogee form bowl cut and polished with stylised flowers and a tall spiral stem and domed foot with further cut decoration, height 34.5cm.
NB - Donated by Michael Andrews. This was manufactured in 1981 when he was the master glassmaker and lecturer in hot glass at Royal Doulton Crystal Factory. This wine goblet was a limited edition and was produced to commemorate the visit to the UK of Pope John Paul II on the 28th of May 1982.
