TAHITI: Binder with the early to modern range of cards & covers etc. Of particular note, three 1884 locally used (Jun.-Sept.) wrappers handstamped "TAHITI/5c" (2) of "TAHITI/10c", attractive group of 1920s regd. envs. ex Papeete to France, range of WWII censor covers to Argentina, Gabon, GB, Manchuria, USA, etc. and pair of "SPECIAL GUERRE" 1f Postal Stationery cards surcharged 20c, one with US censor mark. We note April 1947 'Kon-tiki' Expedition cover with special cachet, Lima c.d.s along with various French Oceanic Settlement frankings. Lot also inc. various First Flight covers 1951 Papeete-Aitutaki, Auckland-Papeete (Teal), etc. plus a selection of Postage Due covers, instructional marks, etc. A very fine collection.
