A large WMF Art Nouveau pewter and green glass claret jug designed by Albert Mayer, circa 1900. Cast in relief with maiden's heads, flowers and foliage, with a green glass liner and hinged cover. Marked WMF, EP, I/O, AS (Darkened antique silver finish). 41 cm height.
Condition report: Some surface wear with age, silver plating worn off over time. No signs of restoration.
