A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 65880, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1922, from a North Eastern Railway Class P3, LNER J27 Class, 0-6-0 No 2358 built at Darlington in August 1922, renumbered 5880 in 1946, becoming BR 65880. It spent most of its BR days at North Blyth with a final eight months at South Blyth from where it was withdrawn on 12 June 1967 and sold for scrap to Hughes Bolckow, also at Blyth, in August 1967. Cast brass, 9"x5", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
