A pair of WW1 memorial plaques to a husband and wife, named to Wilfred and Elizabeth Blackburn; both plaques have been drilled at 12 o’clock for mounting. Wilfred Blackburn , 240469 Pte, E. Lancashire Regt, died at home of Phthisis 14th February 1918, aged 26 (plaque weight 314.6 g); Elizabeth Blackburn, 14900, W.R.A.F, enrolled as Labour Worker at No 6 Stores Depot, Ascot, 22.4.18 aged 24, died 17th December 1918 (plaque weight 373.2 g). About VF and polished. With various photocopied details. Both were buried at the St Cuthbert Churchyard, Southport. There were 600 Memorial plaques for WWI females, husband and wife plaques together would be of great rarity. £3,500-3,750
