A George V silver mounted cut glass lemonade jug, the lid engraved with contemporary inscription and the date June 24th 1913, 26.5cm h, by George Betjeman & Sons, London 1913
The inscription reads "Crawley: Pour out a glass of old Brandy and drop in it a pint of Champagne of the year '92; a liqueur of Curacao, drop with a blop in it, Marachino; a dash in the cup you may pour; a Boule of Seltzer - the smallest they make of it - of Lemon peel or slice of burnage one leaf, a cut of cucumber and when you partake of it, if you leave but one drain you will add to your grief! From Swears June 24th 1913"
No damage to silver or glass, fully marked
