A Chinese terracotta sculpture of a Buddhistic lion, possibly 19th century. Provenance: Purchased from Moon Gate, 278 Orchard Road, Singapore on 3rd January 1969. Receipt included describes the figure as ‘antique stoneware sitting lion Ching Dynasty’. 12 cm height.
Condition report: Some age related wear with remnants of red paint to the surface. Very small sections of restoration present.
