A LARGE BELGIAN OFFICER's MODEL SIX SHOT REVOLVER C.1850. A mid 19th century revolver with a 15cm circular barrel, six shot chamber and loading lever to the right, on a finely chequered wooden grip, with ring to the base, with much bright blued and case hardened factory finish, with Liege proof marks. 28cm.
Revolvers of this type were widely exported to the Confederate States during the American Civil War.
