1743 (Sep 21) Entire letter from Robert Devereux in Wexford to Dublin, the address panel with manuscript "Free Cha. Tottenham", "FREE" handstamp crossed out and initialled with circular "COUNTERFEIT / 2" (DC1), part Wexford handstamp and a Bishop Mark on reverse. Horizontal fold and minor faults but very rare, the earliest of seven recorded examples. Photo on Page 40.
