An American novelty antique cold painted cast iron ‘Creedmoor’ mechanical money bank. By J E Stevens Co, patented Feb 2 1875. Modelled as an American soldier aiming at a tree. Base inscribed ‘reproduced from original in the collection of The Book of Knowledge’. 16.2 cm height, 24.4 cm length.
Condition report: Some age related wear as illustrated. Spring mechanism currently functions.
