A 19th century ensemble for a young girl, comprising a short-sleeved dress with matching overdress, in a fine cream gauze woven with a regular small ruby and green design, the dress frilled to the lower skirt, the bodice laced to the front but fastening with hooks to the rear, lined in cream glazed cotton, the overdress with long sleeves, ruffles to the sleeves, and extensive decorative ruffled panels to the rear (2)
