OR ENDORSEMENTS; 1846-93 covers (2) + ½d PCs (3) all unusually sent "Via Fleetwood"; 1846 cash-paid EL from Manchester to Ballymoney & 1849 1d Red EL from Belfast to Manchester each most unusually endorsed "Via Fleetwood", 1872 pair of ½d Violet p. stat. PCs from Belfast to Lancaster each with fine or near fine fancy Handstruck "Via Fleetwood" mark (produced for the senders "York St. Flax Spinning Co."?), and 28 July 1893 usage of the ½d Brown p. stat. PC ex Dublin to Liverpool with fine "DUBLIN/TOO LATE" Duplex and Manchester transit cds (i.e. missed the Holyhead packet so sent via Fleetwood?). Plus 1880 EL from Fleetwood itself but routed eastwards and endorsed "via Hull" - to Norway with 2½d Blue (pl.19). Fleetwood routed Irish mail is rare.
