This is 1 of just 1,000 British Open Classic Limited Edition Minis produced for the UK market in 1992. This Limited Edition was based on the Mini Mayfair with 1275cc engine, full-length electrically operated Webasto sunroof, Minilite-style alloys, and opening rear windows. It has Stone Beige Countryman Tweed upholstery with leather inserts, green piping, cream leather steering wheel, matching door cards and seatbelts. The car was damaged in 2004, and the insured decided not to repair it. It was however fully restored in 2005/2006 and there is a photographic file, showing this being done. The car is currently in very good condition throughout. The engine is said to have been modified slightly, and there is an invoice from 2019 showing the power output to be 58bhp @ the wheels, having been set-up on a rolling road.
