PAIR OF CHINESE BLUE & WHITE SLEEVE VASES & PAIR OF MOON FLASK VASES. Late 19thc, the slender vases painted with a lady reading next to a bird perched on a branch, also painted with flowers and leaves. Character marks to the base, one with damages. 30cms high. Also with a pair of late 19thc/early 20thc moon flask vases, painted with panels of birds and battle scenes, with applied chilong and painted with flowers on a yellow ground (some damages, 25cms high). (4).

More Information

Sleeve vase, one vase seems generally fine, small nick to the footrim and some discolouration inside the rim.
The other, large chunk out of the rim, couple of small chips to the footrim
Moon flask vases, one has been broken around the top and restored, tail chipped to the chilong, the other - chip to the rim, hairline crack from the rim (7.5cms long) which is visible on the inside and outside, chilong chipped with bits missing.
