A VICTORIAN YELLOW METAL MOURNING BROOCH, oval form with black enamel and seed pearl detail, with a central later added oval cut blue paste stone, personal engraving to the reverse reads 'Dorothy Clarke18 May 1855', fitted with a brooch pin and safety clasp, with additional safety chain, approximate dimensions length 50.5mm x width 39.7mm, approximate gross weight 26.8 grams (condition report: blue paste has been added at a later date, pearls have natural blemishes, brooch pin and clasp in working order)
