An important Irish Georgian mahogany Grandfather Clock, the hood with swan neck pediment carved rosettes and lion mask with leaf border above a glazed panel with half Corinthian panels housing a brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals by Abraham Tappy (1735-1773), Dublin, the trunk of elongated form with heavy arched door on a short panelled box base with ogee bracket feet, approx. 241cms high (95").
