A late 19th century carved walnut Prie Dieu chair, 114.5cm high x 52cm wide x 60cm deep, c.1900; and a circular footstool, (2).
Structure is robust, overhead carving has come slightly loose, signs of previous wood worm located throughout, slight ware to embroidery.
The stools embroidery is slightly worn, paint work has slightly faded as well as scuffs located throughout, please see pictures.
