A 7/8 size Italian violin, with label reading "Giuseppe Guarnerius Fecit Cremona, date, JHS", the date is numerical but undecipherable, in hardshell leather casing, which reads Guaranteed genuine leather "bull's head", and associated bow, violin length 14"
The violin is in well used condition, significant rubbing, surface scratchings and markings, there are 2 splits on the body of the violin running from either side through to the middle section, the strings are loose and will need replacing, bow will also need attention, case shows signs of damp storage and age-related wear, some of the leather on the top is missing
