A MID TO LATE 20TH CENTURY SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND CLUSTER RING, an emerald cut purplish blue sapphire, measuring approximately 10.0mm x 8.0mm x 4.7mm, calculated weight 3.76ct, enclosed within a diamond border, estimated round brilliant cut weight 1.40ct, colour assessed as H-I, clarity assessed as SI1-SI2, ring size O, stamped '18ct plat', approximate gross weight 5.7 grams. (Condition report; Overall condition good, the sapphire does have some table wear to the facet edges, diamonds bright and lively, claws appear to be secure, shank is in condition, minor surface scratches to the mount in keeping with general wear)
