AFTER NIKOLAI LIEBERICH (1828-1883) A LARGE RUSSIAN BRONZE FIGURE GROUP OF COSSACK HUNTERS WITH TWO HORSES AND WOLF HOUNDS modelled as a Wolf Hunting Group, featuring two hunters binding a wolf, two horses and four hounds. Cast by Woerffel foundry after the model by Nikolai Lieberich (1828-1883). Inscribed to base ‘Sculp. Lieberich, ‘Fabr. C.F.Woerffel / St Petersburg’ and finance ministry stamp for 1884.
