VICTORIAN WEDGWOOD DESSERT SERVICE - SEA SHELLS. An unusual Wedgwood Etruria dessert service, each painted with sea shells and aquatic plants on a pale yellow ground. Comprising 12 plates (23cms across), and three pairs of dishes (largest 30.5cms across). With a letter from the Wedgwood factory in 1969, giving some details. (18).
Dishes, generally fine with a little wear in places to the gilding, odd spot where the gilding has chipped off (minor).
Plates, one has a star crack to the base, one plate has some marks to the surface, otherwise in generally good order.
