A large and impressive Meissen figural porcelain table centre, 19th century, with an adolescent Cupid surmount, above four scrolling candle sconces the column in the form of a ribbon-bound and flower-encrusted palm tree with classical figures about its base holding a shield on a moulded rocaille base, bearing a large cross sword mark to the base. 72 cm overall height x 42 cm wide. Extensively restored.
